In the show, the narrator briefly touched on Lafayette's possible service in the US Colored Troops, but when I received the research material from Edwin's wife, I didn't see anything about that. After we attended the filming in Nashville, I looked him up on Findagrave and there he was, though he has no marker; his wife does, however. IF he did serve in the USCT, I would like to get him a VA marker. I have looked for him on Fold3, but no result. Do you have the material that was used for that reference? It was a photo of a reunion that I saw very briefly. BTW, my wife is seen in the crowd as we were there. Thanks, Carter G.
